Near sunset and closing of the park i snagged this little gem. The temple was really amazing and this little snap doesn't convey the size and beauty of being in it's presence. But it is still nice. Enjoy

After planing my next stop, Tibet, I hopped in a cab form the travel agent and headed to the Hutong's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hutong" south of Tiananmen Square "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiananmen_Square". With a lot of pointing at maps and the schooling i got from the cabbie on how to pronounce "Tiananmen" I was dropped off and began to drift in to the Hutongs.

I expect that to change. here is a really pretty photo of a humbel construction flag. standing guard infront of the endless swaths of green fabrich that wrap the buildings under construction here in Beijin, like wrapping paper, till they are done and ready to shown off to the wrld like shiny new presents.
